DJI Mavic Mini Should Have Wheels

Like I said, I have been watching a lot of youtube videos learning about drones. Also did research on demos and testing of the on board gps system of the Mavic Mini. While it is the best in its class without the additional  base stations that other big drones have to achieve the ultimate accuracy there is to know, for me I need it to be more precise than what it is capable of right now.

I am thinking of 2 options both of which are too complicated but I think it is doable. The reason why it is a mandatory requirement for my project is obvious, it should be able not to rely on human intervention in executing its own mission. The most important part of the project is for it to be able to charge itself everyday. The whole project's success is dependent on this.

One scenario that I can think of right now is for the Mavic Mini to have its wheels in order for it to be able to search its own charging station to charge itself. This technique is successfully implemented in those robotic vacuum cleaners and I don't see any reason why the Mavic Mini could not have one. The weakness of this approach is there will be additional payload which I am trying to avoid because the Mavic Mini being a small drone can only carry less than half of its total weight and even if it can carry the payload, the flight time decreases and not to mention that the motors have to work a lot harder and this may affect the life expectancy of the drone.

The second scenario which probably not a good idea is to improve the gps system of the Mavic Mini and make its landing base its charging station as well. The failure rate for this approach is higher even though I still don't have data to backup my claim. The other pros of this approach is there is a possibility of not having additional payload if the accuracy can be improved by tweaking the firmware. It is a "possibility", so there is also a big chance to use additional hardware.

There is a third option which is a combination of the 2 options I discussed above. The base station will have wheels to go where the DJI Mavic Mini will land. This will be cool and since it a charging station, the microusb port of the Mavic Mini had to be tweaked be relocating positive, negative and the data lines at the magnetized landing gears. I could hardly see the cons of this solution for now since it is on its early stages.
